Hands-On Healing. Whole-Person Support.

At GOTURSIX, we envision a world where those impacted by trauma don’t just survive — they thrive for life.
Our Hellbender Third Space is a trauma-informed environment where Veterans and Families engage in purposeful, hands-on activities — like woodworking, gardening, and disc golf — in a setting that fosters healing, connection, and personal growth.
While national attention focuses on Veteran suicide, GOTURSIX works upstream — using action and neuroscience to retrain the brain, restore confidence, and reclaim life after PTSD.
From Volunteer to Board Member, we empower Veterans, Families, and Communities impacted by PTSD through hands-on, neuroscience-informed healing in a trauma-aware Third Space.

Post-traumatic stress is not a weakness—it’s a neurological injury. It disrupts brain function, emotional regulation, relationships, and everyday life.
Veterans and Families often carry not only the burden of trauma, but also the weight of isolation and fragmented care systems. Far too many are left to face it alone. We know—because we’ve lived it.
That’s why GOTURSIX is more than a program — it’s a trauma-aware network for PTSD recovery. We connect participants with trusted PTSD resources, coaching, and community-based healing.

Our Third Space is where healing happens — through purpose, movement, and connection. Outside the home and workplace, it’s a place to reset, reconnect, and reclaim.
At GOTURSIX, we’ve named our Third Space after the Ozark Hellbender — a rare, resilient giant salamander that only thrives in clean, flowing waters of the Ozarks. Like our Veterans, Families, and Neighbors, the Hellbender is a living symbol of survival against the odds.
In our Hellbender Third Space, growth happens where conditions are right: through hands-on work, trusted relationships, and the steady current of community.
At Hellbender Third Space, we offer:
🧭 2-week immersive workshops in nature
💻 1 week of guided online integration
This format stabilizes trauma-affected brains and supports sustained progress — with no labels, no pressure, just purpose.
