Volunteers participate willingly and without compensation. We ask everyone to:

• Follow safety instructions.

• Work within their abilities.

• Wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

• Respect the land, equipment, wildlife, and one another.

• Stop and report to the Director of Operations any activity they believe is unsafe.

• Decline any task they are not comfortable or qualified to perform.

Volunteer activities may involve physical labor and outdoor work, including uneven terrain, wooded areas, changing weather, hand tools, equipment, lifting, wildlife, and other inherent risks.

By volunteering, you acknowledge these risks and voluntarily choose to participate.

In consideration for being allowed to participate in volunteer activities, I agree to waive, release, and discharge GOTURSIX, Hellbender Hollow Disc Golf Course, property owners, officers, directors, volunteers, agents, partners, sponsors, and affiliates (collectively referred to as the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in volunteer activities.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Personal injury

• Illness

• Property damage

• Loss of personal property

• Medical expenses

• Any other damages or losses associated with participation

I further agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Released Parties from any claims made by me, my family, heirs, or representatives arising from or related to my participation in volunteer activities.

I understand that GOTURSIX does not provide medical, health, workers’ compensation, disability, or liability insurance coverage for volunteers.

I acknowledge that (1) I have personal medical insurance that will cover the cost of medical treatment in the event of injury or illness; or
(2) I understand that if I do not have medical insurance, I am personally responsible for the cost of any medical care that I may require while participating in volunteer activities.

GOTURSIX does not provide medical, health, workers' compensation, disability, or liability insurance for volunteers.

You are responsible for your own medical expenses resulting from any injury or illness that may occur while participating in volunteer activities.

In the event that I am injured or become ill while participating in volunteer activities, I consent to receive emergency medical care, treatment, or transportation if deemed necessary by emergency personnel or medical professionals. I will offer an emergency contact to be used as necessary.
