MEMORANDUM OF COLLABORATION
Between GOTURSIX and Disc Golf Monkey
PURPOSE
This Memorandum of Collaboration (“MOC”) outlines the collaborative relationship between GOTURSIX, Inc., a Missouri-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and Disc Golf Monkey, represented by Russ Burns of Springfield, Missouri, regarding the development of Hellbender Hollow Disc Golf Park located in Wright County, Missouri.
The purpose of this collaboration is to support the development of a community-centered disc golf course that promotes outdoor recreation, regional engagement, volunteerism, and community connection through the mission and programming of GOTURSIX, Inc. Both parties recognize the value of developing Wright County’s first disc golf course through an iterative, community-supported approach that welcomes ongoing feedback, participation, and future growth.
COLLABORATION ROLE
Disc Golf Monkey will serve as a Founding Course Development Advisor for Hellbender Hollow Disc Golf Park.
The primary obligation of this role is an on-site property visit to physically walk the grounds and place flags marking the location of each basket and two tee placements per hole — one beginner/short tee and one advanced/long tee — across all 18 holes. This on-site flagging work forms the foundation of the course layout and will enable GOTURSIX, Inc. to produce the alpha course map for players.
In addition, Disc Golf Monkey may provide:
Course routing guidance
Player flow and safety recommendations
Community and tournament development insight
General consultation regarding disc golf course design and player experience
GOTURSIX, Inc. retains full ownership, management authority, and decision-making responsibility regarding the property, infrastructure, nonprofit operations, and final course implementation.
COMPENSATION
GOTURSIX, Inc. agrees to provide compensation for Russ Burns’s expertise, consultation, and time as mutually discussed and agreed upon by both parties.
The agreed compensation model is as follows:
Design Consultation Fee: $100 per hole for on-site course layout and advisory services, applied across all 18 holes for a total consultation value of $1,800.
Initial Budget: A good-faith collaboration budget of $2,000 has been mutually agreed upon, covering the full 18-hole consultation fee with remaining funds available for expanded advisory support as the project evolves.
Basket Sales: As the preferred long-term model, hole sponsors will fund the replacement of current practice baskets with professional Disc Golf Monkey baskets at the rate of one basket per sponsored hole. GOTURSIX, Inc. has invested in practice baskets to launch the course and build community momentum in the interim. Specific basket pricing, availability, and purchase terms will be established by separate written agreement at the time of each transaction.
Additional collaboration phases and compensation adjustments may be discussed and confirmed separately in writing as the project evolves.
TIMELINE & PAYMENT SCHEDULE
Compensation will be disbursed in two milestone-based phases, regardless of the number of on-site visits required to complete the work:
Phase 1 — $1,000: Paid on the day of Disc Golf Monkey’s first on-site visit, upon completion of flag placement for a minimum of 9 holes, including two tee markers per hole. This milestone is targeted for completion no later than July 15, 2026, to support the August 1, 2026 alpha course opening.
Phase 2 — $1,000: Paid upon completion of flag placement for all 18 holes, including two tee markers per hole. Both parties agree to work in good faith toward completing the full 18-hole layout in a timely manner, with flexibility to accommodate weather, scheduling, or other unforeseen circumstances.
COURSE DEVELOPMENT PHILOSOPHY
Hellbender Hollow Disc Golf Park is being developed as a community-supported course using an iterative, feedback-driven model:
Alpha (August 1, 2026): Minimum 9-hole playable layout opens to the public. Players are invited — from beginners to experienced players — to play the course, track their scores on a provided paper scorecard, and submit feedback on layout, difficulty, and overall experience.
Beta (November 1, 2026): Player feedback from the alpha period (August–October 2026) is reviewed and incorporated into an improved layout targeting the full 18-hole course.
Gold (April 1, 2027): Final course layout is established following a full season of beta play and a winter improvement period, coinciding with the opening of the primary disc golf season.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, GOTURSIX, Inc. operates Hellbender Hollow on a donate-to-play model. All donations support the development of food access programs serving communities across Missouri.
FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES
Both parties acknowledge a shared interest in exploring future programming at Hellbender Hollow Disc Golf Park, including tournament events and vendor presence by Disc Golf Monkey. These opportunities are not guaranteed by this agreement and will be defined by separate written agreement when the time comes.
PUBLIC RECOGNITION
Both parties may publicly acknowledge this collaboration in promotional materials, social media, community outreach, fundraising materials, events, and related communications. Disc Golf Monkey may be identified as a Founding Course Development Advisor for Hellbender Hollow Disc Golf Park.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All course layout recommendations and related materials produced by Disc Golf Monkey in connection with this collaboration are provided for the exclusive use of GOTURSIX, Inc. in the development of Hellbender Hollow Disc Golf Park. GOTURSIX, Inc. retains full ownership of all course infrastructure, layouts, and implemented designs developed for Hellbender Hollow Disc Golf Park. Disc Golf Monkey retains the right to reference this collaboration publicly as part of their professional portfolio.
INDEPENDENT RELATIONSHIP
This Memorandum of Collaboration does not establish a legal partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, or ownership interest between the parties. Both parties remain independent entities collaborating in support of shared community goals.
Each party remains responsible for its own insurance, business operations, taxes, personnel, and liabilities unless otherwise agreed in writing.

This collaboration may continue as mutually beneficial to both parties. Either party may discontinue this collaboration at any time by providing written notice to the other party.
Any compensation already disbursed for services rendered prior to termination is non-refundable. Outstanding payments for completed milestones remain due upon termination. Termination does not affect obligations accrued prior to termination.
